P..... is for Performance

 From 'Kurt' in the Irish Premiere of 'The Sound of Music', in the Grand Opera House, Belfast, in 1970, to 'Declan Ganley' in 'Who Killed The Celtic Tiger" in Galway, 2010, Peter has performed in over 200 musical productions, ranging from The Pantomime Dame to heroic leading men. Along the way, he has won Acting Awards for 'Tevye' in 'Fiddler on the Roof', 'Clown' in 'Clown' and 'Leo Kramer' in 'The Joy of Living'. As a Comedian, he has won awards for 'Grinkl' in 'White Horse Inn', 'Ali Hakim' in 'Oklahoma', 'Gramps' in 'The Widow or Bust' and 'Daphne/Jerry' in 'Some Like it Hot'. Most recently, he has been nominated as Best Supporting Actor for his role as "Pilate" in "Jesus Christ Superstar".

P performed for over 15 years with the Ulster Operatic Company, Belfast, for 12 years with First Act Musical Company, Belfast and for 10 years with Encore Theatre Company, Galway. He has been a guest performer with Fortwilliam Musical Society, Belfast, St.Patrick's Choral Society, Downpatrick, Lisnagarvey Operatic Society, Lisburn, Dolmen Music Theatre, Carlow, Cecilian Musical Society, Limerick, Marian Choral Society, Tuam, St.Brendan's Choral Society, Loughrea, Nenagh Choral Society, Roscrea Choral Society, Patrician Musical Society, Galway, Twin Productions, Galway and the Renmore Pantomime Society, Galway.

His favourite roles include Koko in The Mikado, Tevye in Fiddler, Kipps in Half A Sixpence, Kenickie in Grease, Leo Kramer in The Joy of Living, Toby in God Bless Archie Dean, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls and most recently, Max Bialystock in The Producers.
